介绍
诞生于1992年左右，由Trance和Epic House融合而来，特点是结构长、节奏渐进、BPM往往低于传统速度(128~136BPM)以及来自Tribal House和Progressive Breaks的交融。整体上类似于Progressive House/Epic House，但更短小精悍；相较于Classic Trance又更旋律化、精致化。
90年代的Progressive Trance更倾向于融合Tribal House与Progressive Breaks元素。千禧年后与受其影响诞生的Uplifting Trance一同开始成为主流，并开始变得更加深邃。进入2010s后，随着Anjunabeat厂牌的运作，Progressive Trance逐渐开始向更流行化的方向发展，以及吸收Electro House元素形成新的主流EDM声音。代表人物：Paul van Dyk、BT、Solarstone、Tiesto、ППК、Tilt、Armin van Burren、Above & Beyond、Paul Oakenfold、zts、Taishi。
